Report abuse
Anyone can publish a document here anonymously. If one of them is being used to harm someone, we want to know.
What to report
- Phishing, or any page impersonating a real person, company, or service
- Malware, or script that attacks the person viewing it
- Content that targets or endangers a private individual
- Anything unlawful where the page is hosted
How
Email hello@ikangai.com with
ABUSE in the subject, and include the full URL. The 8-character code in the
hostname — abcd1234.rewritable.ikangai.com — is what identifies the document.
There is also a machine route, if you are reporting programmatically:
POST /report/<short> with {"reason": "...", "contact": "..."}
What happens next
A person reads it. Reports are queued for review and never trigger automatic removal. That is deliberate: an endpoint where an anonymous reporter can unpublish someone else's document would itself be an abuse vector. Removal is an operator action.
Published snapshots expire on their own — 24 hours for an ordinary publish, 90 days of inactivity for a connected share — so many problems age out without anyone acting.
If it is your own document
You do not need us. A connected share carries an update token held only by the browser that created it, and that browser can unshare it directly from the ↗ panel.
